Overview
Serves as a consultant and mentor to nurse leaders, supporting student programs and nursing initiatives. Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement nursing student programs, ensuring clinical application of leadership competencies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and managing programs that prepare nursing students for clinical practice and increase hiring. Provide coaching and training to nursing leadership to ensure program success and sustainability. Lead and manage the implementation of new care modalities and nursing practices. Identify best practices within nursing and collaborate with leaders for broader adoption. Support strategic planning, mentor leaders in evidence-based practices, and evaluate program effectiveness. Review and align program objectives with organizational and academic partnerships. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Five years of nursing leadership experience with broad clinical knowledge. Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing. Knowledge of Evidence Based Leadership (EBL), LEAN, and CAP methodologies. Effective data management and conversion skills.
