Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. IV certification upon hire. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire preferred. Current PALS (AHA) certificate upon hire preferred. Minimum six month of acute or subacute experience required.

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00 to $37.63. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
