Physician Assistant-Certified / Nurse Practitioner Bi-Lingual

Summary

• Our Family medicine practice needs a FNP / Physician Assistant to help cope with our expanding roster of patients. The provider will be responsible for taking over many of our new patients as well as some of our existing patients. We're looking for a professional who is passionate about Family medicine and conservative care. We focus on encouraging our patients to pursue preventive care, such as wellness check-ups, as well as informing us immediately of changes in symptoms.

*Responsibilities*

• Provide general medical care under physician supervision
• Conduct physical exams, including annual and preventive visits
• Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, CKD) using established guidelines
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and document assessment and care plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatments
• Refer patients to specialists or additional services as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation

*Educational Requirements*

• Master’s degree from an accredited educational program in Physician Assistant Studies
• NYS Physician Assistant License
• NCCPA, DEA and BLS Certification

*Requirements*

• 1+ years’ experience as Physician Assistant in a primary care setting (preferred)
• Bilingual English, Spanish (preferred)
• Must have strong patient assessment, patient management, documentation and organizational skills (required)
• Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to treat patient health issues.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
