Role Overview The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management for a specific clinical unit, promoting excellence in patient care, staff retention, safety, and operational outcomes. They serve as the chief safety and retention officer, ensuring quality standards through data-driven decision-making and effective resource deployment. Key Responsibilities Engage staff in decision-making via shared governance and foster relationship-based care systems. Manage talent, resources, and finances to optimize unit performance, using quality improvement and lean strategies. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration, establish positive work environments, and build strong relationships with staff, physicians, and departments. Ensure staff competency, uphold professional standards, and support staff development and onboarding. Advance evidence-based practice, monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and utilize data for decision-making. Participate in professional activities, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred. Current RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state compact, with BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills. Show more Show less
