About this role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to an assigned patient population. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the RN assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, and evaluates patient outcomes. This role promotes patient safety, delivers high-quality care in accordance with KDMC policies and accepted nursing standards, and serves as a leader and advocate for patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Current Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within first year of employment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within first year of employment
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrates competency in required nursing skills
