RN - Interventional Radiology - Full Time

The Imaging Nurse is available to assist all the modalities in Radiology: Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. The RN has a responsibility to act as educator to their peers, patients, and their families. The nurse collaborates with the Radiologists in the planning of patient care. The nurse may function in the pre, intra and post procedure care of the patient, rotating modalities daily. The nurse will assist in diagnostic procedures as well as highly complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions such as cerebral aneurysm coils, AVM & AVF repairs and stroke interventions. The nurse will be required to start IV's and access and de-access ports, administer conscious sedation and monitor sedated patients per hospital policy. This position requires Call.
