About the Role

We are seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week quick start contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role supports adult medical-surgical patients during night shifts and requires strong patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and teamwork skills in a performance-driven clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for adult med surg patients

Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes

Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to care plans

Document patient care, assessments, and updates accurately using EPIC

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support safe outcomes

Requirements

Active Nebraska RN License Or Compact RN License Required

Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience required

BLS/BCLS Certification Required

EPIC experience preferred

Must meet facility performance expectations and be available for night shift, holiday coverage, and assigned schedule needs
