What You'll Do
As a CNA, you'll provide direct resident care at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs as required
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Answer call lights and respond to resident needs
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Follow resident care plans and facility procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
- Provide compassionate care while promoting dignity and independence
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team
What You Need
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification – required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Dependable and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of a CNA position
- Reliable transportation to assigned facilities
Preferred
- 1+ year of CNA experience
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience
- CPR certification
