What You'll Do
As a Treatment RN, You Will
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, biologics, and supportive infusion treatments safely and effectively Perform patient assessments, review laboratory results, and evaluate treatment readiness Monitor patients during infusions and respond to adverse reactions or complications Educate patients and families regarding treatments, side effects, symptom management, and self-care strategies Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver the highest standard of oncology care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with oncology safety standards and protocols
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN License or Compact RN License eligible for Texas licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Experience in oncology infusion preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification is a plus, not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
