Qualifications required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a current license to practice in the state of Michigan.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
Must satisfactorily complete ACLS within 1 year of hire/transfer
Must satisfactorily complete first available Basic Dysrhythmia course
NIHSS Certification; if not current, must obtained within twelve months of hire/transfer

Preferred

Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent preferred
Critical Care Nurse preferred
