RN, Ambulatory Services - Reproductive Medicine

The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services delegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for their professional development. Major responsibilities include: Perform/direct ACLS, Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation, Administration of advanced lifesaving medications, Independent templated RN-only visits for patient assessment, Specialty patient education, Sedation, Telemetry monitoring & interpretation/management of rhythm changes, Assisting with complex procedures, Advanced wound therapy (VACs, debridement, etc.), Central line management (TPA administration) and maintenance, Device interrogation and interpretation, Complex infusions. Work may also include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with minor procedures. May float to other areas as needed for operations need.
