About this role

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Registered Nurse to assist with _initial licensing_ and join our dynamic non-medical home care team. Our office is located in Greensboro, NC and is scheduled to open in July.

This position is PRN (As Needed) or per diem, meaning no full-time hours at this time. This position pays per task(s) assigned. All tasks are paid with a base pay plus mileage depending on the location. Mileage is calculated with our office as the starting point and at a rate of $0.725 per mile. All in office tasks will be paid at your base hourly rate only. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where your skills make a meaningful difference every day.

*Client Care Management*

  • Conduct initial and ongoing in-home assessments (every 90 days) to determine client needs and level of care.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans in accordance with the client’s condition and goals.
  • Monitor client health status and coordinate care modifications as necessary.
  • Educate clients and families about care plans, medications, and safety protocols.

*Staff Supervision & Support*

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of PCAs, CNAs, and other direct care staff.
  • Provide hands-on skills training and ongoing coaching to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Conduct competency evaluations for direct care staff in accordance with NC DHSR standards.
  • Support staff with clinical questions, emergencies, and client concerns.

*Compliance & Documentation*

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical records.
  • Ensure all services meet state regulatory requirements and agency policies.
  • Participate in internal audits and readiness for DHSR inspections.
  • Document care plan changes, staff supervision, and client progress accurately and promptly.

*Communication & Coordination*

  • Collaborate with physicians, family members, insurance companies, and other care providers as needed.
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between the agency, client, and external providers.
  • Participate in case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings.
