About this role
Registered Nurse position providing direct care to patients on the Mental Health Unit using the nursing process. Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, providing interventions, evaluating patient outcomes, delegating to Mental Health Counselors, crisis intervention, medication administration, patient education on illness and relapse prevention, and maintaining a safe milieu environment. Requires Associate degree in nursing with Bachelor's preferred. Certifications required include BLS, Fingerprinting, iChat, Recipient Rights training, RN licensure, and TEAM Advanced (Techniques for Effective Aggression Management). One or more years of mental health nursing experience preferred.
