Compensation
$88,000 to $100,000 based on relevant experience, clinical skills, independence, documentation quality, and overall fit for the role. Mileage reimbursement, paid on-call stipend, and additional after-hours visit pay provided.
Del Corazon Hospice is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice nursing visits to patients throughout Santa Fe and surrounding communities .

Position Summary
The Hospice RN provides skilled nursing care, symptom management, and compassionate support to hospice patients wherever they call home. This role partners closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort, dignity, and excellent end-of-life care.
Key Responsibilities
Case Manage hospice patients along with needed visits in Santa FE and surrounding communities
Participates in nurse on-call rotation for weeknight coverage, Monday through Thursday. On-Call is typically one night per week, but may vary depending on the number of nurses in the rotation. Paid on-call stipend and additional after-hours visit pay are provided.
Conduct patient assessments and manage pain/symptom control
Administer medications and treatments per physician plan of care
Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families through the hospice journey
Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team (IDT) including social work, chaplain, aides, and medical director
Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Serve as an advocate for comfort-focused, patient-centered care
Qualifications
Active RN license in New Mexico (required)
At least 1 year of nursing experience (hospice/home health strongly preferred)
Strong assessment, communication, and independent decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously in the field with excellent time management
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
CPR certification preferred
