About this role

RN position on the Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte. Provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in a secure, acute care psychiatric unit serving patients ages 5-17 experiencing serious mental health conditions including suicidal ideation, self-harm, psychosis, severe mood disorders, and behavioral dysregulation. Full-time, 7pm-7am, 36 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred
  • BSN Preferred
