About this role
EyeCare Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post-Op at St. Louis Eye Surgery & Laser Center in Des Peres, MO. Full-time position, Monday-Friday 5:30am-4:00pm. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies.
Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered. Participates in direct patient care in an ambulatory surgical center setting. Requires graduate of accredited Nursing Program, current RN license, BLS certification.
ACLS preferred. At least one year previous nursing experience strongly preferred in surgical, ASC, Pre/Post-Op, PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical, Telemetry or Operating Room settings.

- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required in the state you will be working in Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred At least one year of previous nursing experience is strongly preferred Previous nursing experience in at least one of the following settings is preferred: surgical, ambulatory surgical center (ASC), Pre/Post-Op, PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical, Telemetry or Operating Room SUMMARY Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
