*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team with a quick start opportunity. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and acute care environments. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive attentive, personalized nursing services while supporting their health and well-being. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills make a meaningful difference every day. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. * Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following prescribed protocols and safety standards. * Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, and sterile technique practices. * Monitor patients’ conditions closely, including managing acute pain, respiratory support with ventilators, and airway management in various settings like hospitals or skilled nursing facilities. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities. * Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and long-term care regulations. * Provide patient education on medication management, health coaching, and post-discharge instructions to promote recovery and independence. *Skills* * Valid LPN license with current state certification; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV certification preferred. * Experience working with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for efficient medical records management. * Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. * Proven ability to perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, catheter care, and specimen collection/processing. * Critical care experience in settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable; experience in emergency medicine or urgent care is a plus. * Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and client interaction across various healthcare environments. * Familiarity with infection control practices, HIPAA confidentiality policies, and long-term care regulations to ensure safe and compliant patient care.
