3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required Mandatory float facility — all clinicians are required to float at the facility's discretion, potentially to units outside their primary area of competency Charting performed in Cerner Free parking available on a first-come, first-serve basis Requirements Active, non-pending IL RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience required Correctional nursing experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Proof of COVID vaccination required — no exceptions Additional Information Navy blue scrubs required RTO is capped at 5 days per contract, with no more than 2 consecutive days off at a time No RTO approved on weekends, on holidays, or the day before or after a holiday No block scheduling or special scheduling accommodations available Floating may occur up to 50 miles from the primary facility, with as little as 2 hours notice before a shift; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are accepted
