About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Department RN for a 13-week assignment starting April 27, 2026. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where you’ll treat a wide range of patients—from lower-acuity clinic cases to critical emergencies including strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy-related emergencies, pediatrics, and behavioral health.

This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives under pressure, works independently, and can confidently manage complex clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process* (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) Manage high-acuity and complex patient cases* in the ED setting

• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor effectiveness and side effects
• Document all patient care accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately

Onboarding

• Completion of facility orientation and competency validation
• ED-specific onboarding with preceptor support as needed
