DISC Surgery Center is seeking a part-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Carlsbad location . This position is expected to work 2-3 days/week (Monday - Friday). This location specializes in Orthopedic, spine and pain management procedures. In this position, you will: Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families To ensure success in this role, you should have: Valid RN license BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery 2 years’ experience in acute care, PACU, or ICU experience Pay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour Why Should You Work Here: Nationally Recognized Surgeons: Join a team of surgeons with national recognition in the fields of spine and sports medicine.
