- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, and skin evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer injections with precision, ensuring proper technique for safety and optimal results.
- Manage patient documentation accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, potential side effects, and realistic outcomes to foster trust and satisfaction.
- Maintain a sterile environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in medical office settings with familiarity in aesthetic procedures or dermatology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe treatment delivery.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual needs and provide tailored treatment options.
- Ability to perform blood draw, IV infusions, injections (including botulinum toxin).
- Critical care experience or background in emergency medicine is advantageous for managing adverse reactions or emergencies swiftly.
