RN Charge Nurse position at Stanton Nursing Center. Be in charge of a group of dedicated nurses, ensuring they are able to provide the highest quality of care for residents. Involved in hiring, orientation, monitoring skills and training. Working with doctors, obtaining medications, and maintaining accurate records of treatment. Essential functions include supervising nursing unit including scheduling and directing nursing staff, coordinating effective use of personnel/supplies/equipment and facilities, contacting physicians, reviewing staffing patterns, investigating complaints, ensuring compliance with regulations, charting and documentation, conducting rounds, preparing equipment, observing residents, taking vital signs, responding to emergencies, assisting in care plan completion, and monitoring documentation.

Charge Nurse

Requirements

  • Current State Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good standing in the state registry is required. RN License, LPN, 2 years experience, Night shift, Day shift.
