The RN - Cath Lab provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, procedure preparation, intra-procedure support including circulating and scrubbing roles, post-procedure monitoring, and collaboration with the interventional team. This position requires critical thinking, technical proficiency, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN)
Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within time frame required by facility policy
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within time frame required by facility policy
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within time frame required by facility policy (if applicable)
Moderate/Conscious Sedation competency as required by facility policy
Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience
One year of Cath Lab or cardiac experience preferred
