The Registered Nurse (Hospital-Based) is a competent registered nurse that will deliver nursing care to patients of varying age groups by utilizing the nursing process and nursing practice standards. Under the supervision of a clinical nurse manager, this position will provide nursing care to patients including conducting systematic assessments, administering medications, planning care, implementing nursing interventions, evaluating outcomes, serving as patient advocate, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Requirements
Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (required)
All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses required to start an approved BSN program within one year of hire and complete within three years (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by AHA (may be required for specific clinical areas)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by AHA (may be required for specific clinical areas)
All new RN graduates must participate in and complete the Nurse Residency program (required)
