About the Role

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Labor and Delivery to join our dedicated team in Silver Spring, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during one of life's most important moments, supporting patients and families through the birthing experience. If you're a motivated nursing professional with a passion for maternal and newborn care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients throughout the labor and delivery process Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per physician orders and established protocols Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret electronic fetal monitor (EFM) strips Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean section deliveries Provide patient and family education on labor progression, pain management options, and newborn care Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including OB physicians, midwives, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists Respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and fetal distress

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of Maryland (or compact license eligibility)
Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred
