We will provide a personal level of healthcare and addiction treatment that addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of everyone we touch. SSTAR is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which affords our employees eligibility to apply for one of our three Loan Repayment Programs, including the HRSA LRP.

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary health care, education, and clinical functions consistent with the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty according to the regulations as indicated on Scope of Practice signed by the Chief Medical Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provides primary and acute health care to individuals who present at the Health Care Center, according to the regulations as indicated on Scope of Practice signed by the CMO. Documents clinic visits and all telephone or verbal contacts in patient charts. Reviews initial and follow-up of labs and diagnostic tests.

Provides health care based on clinical protocols, which have been reviewed and approved annually by the CMO. Attends Health Center staff and provider meetings. Consults and refers to Health Center doctors and other doctors as needed to provide optimal care.

Participates in an evening/weekend on call rotation approximately once every 8 weeks. Attends conferences and trainings that reflect clinic practice. Other duties as required
