Job Category: Nursing. As the clinical leader and Director of Behavioral Health RNs and Behavioral Health Specialists you will have 24-hour accountability and oversight for your areas of responsibility which include organizational growth and marketing program. This is for the Behavioral Health Adolescents Unit.
This is a 48 bed area. The position reports to the RN Senior Director, Chief Nursing Officer. You will have two Assistant Directors reporting to you and a staff of about 70-80 Behavioral Health RN's and BHS's.
This exciting and challenging position allows you to use your clinical expertise to ensure the provision of high quality, compassionate, safe and cost-effective patient care. Your leadership skills will help you in overseeing direct care staff to include staff development and retention and staffing. As well as day-to-day operations, it includes financial oversight of departmental budgets and enhancing the patient experience.
Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years Director/Leadership experience or Healthcare and/or Program Development Leadership, AZ RN license with at least 5 years of experience and at least 1 year+ Adolescent Behavioral Health, and ideally have a Masters degree. This position will work mainly Monday through Friday 8-4:30pm. Due to the direct impact of this position on overall strategic objectives, eligible to participate in Banner's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
These will be paid out annually based upon successful achievements of annual organizational, financial and patient satisfaction goals, as determined by Banner Health.
