Qualifications

- Previous experience in a school health or pediatric environment preferred
- Familiarity with individualized health care plans and school health protocols
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and emergency response abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Adaptability to work across multiple school locations
Key
Responsibilities
- Manage daily student health needs, including chronic condition support and first aid
- Administer medications in accordance with physician and district guidelines
- Respond quickly to health emergencies and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with administrators on COVID-19 protocols and other public health measures
- Support the transition and onboarding process of new or returning school nursing staff
