About this role

ICU Registered Nurse position at Hartford Hospital on Bliss 11 ICU, the Medicine Intensive Care Unit, a 16-bed unit providing care to patients with complex, highly acute medical issues including respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver injury/failure, kidney injury/failure, sepsis, and drug and alcohol withdrawal. Perm nights, 36 hrs/week, every other holiday/weekend.

Requirements

  • Current Connecticut RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required)
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire
  • Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred
  • In exceptional circumstances, experienced RNs with an ADN/ASN who are currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered
  • Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through the Critical Care Graduate Nurse Program
