Requirements
RN License
Physical Therapist License
Occupational Therapist License
RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals
CPR certification mandatory
Minimum one year of wound care experience required
Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations required
Effective communication, decision-making, and ability to work autonomously
