About this role

Registered Nurse | RMA Utah (IVI RMA North America) | Sandy, UT

Join RMA Utah as a Registered Nurse and play a vital role in supporting fertility patients throughout their family-building journey. In this patient-focused role, you will coordinate care, provide education and emotional support, manage treatment plans, communicate test results, and collaborate closely with providers to deliver exceptional reproductive healthcare. We are seeking a compassionate, organized RN with strong clinical and communication skills who is committed to creating a positive patient experience. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Nurse will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey. The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients. Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans. Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines: Reviews medical records and lab results.

Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR. Communicates test results and patient instructions Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey. Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.

Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care. Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.

Participates in the education and training of nurses. Mentors peers. Promotes a collaborative and productive environment both intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally.

Assists provider with in-office procedures, as needed.

Requirements

  • RN license
  • Active RN license without limitations - required
  • BSN Degree - highly preferred
  • BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required
  • 2+ years practical experience working as a nurse - highly preferred
  • Prior experience in women's healthcare - preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
