About this role
This position works under the direction and supervision of the Oncology Operations Director, Site Operations Lead, or other appropriate management staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. The coordinator supports the accreditation programs of the Cancer Center, including but not limited to Commission on Cancer, APEX, etc. The coordinator supports the outreach and event planning functions of the Cancer Center. Supports RN Navigators and Social Worker in maintaining and developing support and screening services for patients.
Serves as a liaison with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and Cancer Resource Center volunteers. Participates as a fully engaged member of the care team, by demonstrated commitment to service and compassion for the patients of Providence and their families.
