Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington Valid WA SPED RN certification and credentials Previous experience in schools, especially with special education populations, preferred Strong communication skills for interaction with students, school staff, and families Ability to adapt quickly and travel between nearby program sites as assigned Commitment to in-person only work during all scheduled hours Key
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and case management to students participating in ESY programming Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to medical needs or emergencies Collaborate with educators, families, and school administrators to address student health concerns Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with all regulations Support a safe and healthy school environment by following infection control practices This summer assignment comes with a comprehensive benefits package, helping you take care of your own wellness while you support the school community.
