RN Operating Room Heart Team

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus! As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Previous OR Experience Required. Previous CVOR/ Heart Team experience preferred. Day to Day duties: Circulate and/or Scrub on Heart Team cases. Primarily, Gen, Ortho (trauma) Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, Robotics (DaVinci XI/SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, Trauma OB/GYN. One specialized team for Cardiac, all Associates are cross trained for all other services. Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases. Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery. 17 OR Suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid Room, Designated CVOR and a Cystoscopy Suite. Approx. 450-500 cases per month. Schedule: 40hrs/wk variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs. Call required approx. Rotating call including Evening, Nights, Weekends and Holidays. 30Min Callback radius Required.
