The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinically competent patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Works 12-hour shifts for inpatient staff. Responsible for comprehensive nursing assessments, medication administration, patient/family teaching, discharge planning, and supervising LPN and UAP. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or compact state. Must obtain BLS within 90 days. Preferred BSN with minimum 1 year experience in acute care setting; new grads welcome to apply.
