Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Up to $2,600/week
Location: Houston, TX Weekly Pay: $3,000
Schedule
8-hour (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) or 10-hour (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) shifts, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
About the Role
Join a high-acuity, nationally recognized Cardiovascular and Thoracic program. Work alongside 25+ top surgeons across 12 state-of-the-art suites handling ~20 complex cases daily in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate high-acuity adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures.
- Manage complex cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR, Aortic Repair, Kidney Transplants, Robotics, Impella, IABP, and ECMO.
- Utilize EPIC for clinical charting.
- Participate in on-call rotations (minimum 1 weekday night/month and 1 full weekend/month; 30-minute response time required).
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 3 years of CVOR circulating experience in a high-acuity setting.
- Licensing &
Certifications
Active RN License, ACLS, and BLS required.
Education
BSN preferred, but not required.
Skills
Strong ability to adapt seamlessly to diverse surgeon preferences and complex procedures. Scrubbing experience is a plus.
