The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders and state and federal regulations. This role is an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Documentation and Compliance:*
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Follow all regulations related to medication handling, storage, and administration.
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident care planning.
Team Collaboration:*
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
Provide leadership and guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Participate in shift change reports and staff meetings.
Safety and Infection Control:*
Adhere to infection control protocols and standard precautions.
