• Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.

• Provides nursing services, treatments and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned.

• Teaches and counsels the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.

• Maintains accurate and complete records of observations, treatments and care of patient.

• Attends staff meetings and/or IDG conferences an in-services as scheduled.

• Assists the patient/family in learning appropriate self-care techniques.

• Active, unrestricted California RN license — REQUIRED

• Minimum 1 of years of direct Hospice agency experience (must be reflected on resume) REQUIRED

• Current CPR certification — REQUIRED

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license — REQUIRED

• Weekend availability — REQUIRED
