RN (PM shift)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN License Nurse to join our healthcare team for the AM shifts 3pm-11pm and a 4-2 schedule . The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and documentation standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery in a dynamic clinical environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise across various specialties, including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient services, while contributing to patient well-being and safety. Duties • Provide direct patient care by performing assessments, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs in accordance with established protocols. • Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection, IV infusion, catheterization, and wound suturing to support comprehensive patient management. • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like PCC for accurate documentation of patient information and medical records. • Support specialized treatments including botulinum toxin procedures, ostomy care, or esthetic laser treatments as applicable. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics to coordinate patient care plans. • Ensure adherence to infection control practices and aseptic techniques during all procedures to maintain a safe environment. • Educate patients and their families on health coaching, medication administration, discharge planning, and post-acute care instructions. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards such as NCQA standards while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Skills • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar platforms for seamless medical documentation. • Extensive clinical experience in areas such as critical care (ICU), emergency medicine (ER), trauma medicine (Level I & II Trauma Centers), or hospital medicine. • Skilled in performing advanced procedures like IV insertion, ventilator management, tube feeding, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques. • Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and laboratory testing processes. • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patients’ conditions and support diagnostic evaluation. • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator), geriatrics (memory care), behavioral health patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities. • Ability to manage acute pain cases and provide specialized care such as hospice & palliative medicine or infectious disease management. • Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and case management within fast-paced environments like urgent care or outpatient clinics.
