Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care facilities. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, and overall patient management while adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.

*Duties*

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
  • Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care to patients.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Participate in triage and emergency response as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills.

*Qualifications*

  • Current LPN license in good standing.
  • Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices.
  • Experience with IV infusion, medication administration, phlebotomy, catheterization, and wound care is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $36.00 per hour Work Location: In person
