Job
Summary
As a Resident Nurse Assessment Coordinator (MDS), you will be responsible for processing related to the assessment of residents in our healthcare facility. This includes assessing patients, providing regular reports to doctors and other medical professionals, billing, and working with the MDS system.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete all MDS assessments (admission, quarterly, annual, significant change, PPS, OBRA, and discharge) within CMS-mandated timeframes.
Schedule and lead interdisciplinary team (IDT) care plan meetings; ensure individualized, resident-centered care plans are developed and updated.
Accurately code MDS items to reflect resident acuity, ensuring appropriate PDPM
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including OBRA, PDPM, and Quality Measures (QMs).
