MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery team and care for patients before and after cardiac and vascular procedures. In this role, you'll prepare patients for surgery, provide pre-procedure education, and recover vascular patients following their procedures while closely monitoring their condition to ensure a safe recovery.

This position is ideal for experienced critical care nurses looking to use their skills in a specialized cardiovascular setting. ICU or PACU experience is required. You'll work alongside cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a collaborative care team to provide safe, high-quality patient care from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
