American Traveler is hiring a Clinic RN for a Family Medicine practice requiring 1 year of prior clinic experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Work in a dynamic family medicine clinic setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active WI or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Prior clinic experience required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
- Passport-style badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include phone triage, patient education, assisting with minor procedures, medication refills, medication prior authorizations, communicating diagnostic results, and transitional care management
- Additional clinical duties may include EKG/ECG, vital signs, pain assessment, medication reconciliation, foley catheter insertion/management, and wound care
- May support various specialties including cardiology, internal medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and urgent care
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
- Travel pairs accepted
- Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
- First-time travelers considered as travel experience is not required
