Pharmacy Nurse ( LPN/RN ) We are currently accepting applications for a Pharmacy Nurse ( LPN or RN ) within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This role is perfect for a nurse who thrives on organization, accuracy, and playing a key role behind the scenes to ensure safe, effective medication management for our residents. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude. Must enjoy working with our residents and families while collaborating closely with the clinical and pharmacy teams. We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. Benefits Competitive Pay – Pay Scale Based on Experience 401(k) and 401(k) matching Dental insurance, Disability insurance, Flexible spending account, Health insurance, Life insurance and Vision insurance Paid time off Holiday pay with no waiting period Qualifications Must be an active Alabama licensed RN or LPN Long Term Care experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of medication management and pharmacy regulations preferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Essential Job Functions Oversee medication ordering, receiving, and storage in accordance with facility policies and regulations Accurately transcribe and verify physician orders Conduct routine medication cart audits and ensure compliance with safety standards Monitor medication storage, labeling, and expiration dates Serve as a liaison between the facility and pharmacy providers Identify, report, and help resolve medication discrepancies or variances Maintain accurate documentation and records related to pharmacy services Support nursing staff with medication-related needs and processes Why This Role Matters In this position, you are a vital part of resident safety and quality care.
