Pharmacy Nurse ( LPN/RN)

We are currently accepting applications for a Pharmacy Nurse ( LPN or RN ) within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Qualifications

• Must be an active Alabama licensed RN or LPN
• Long Term Care experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medication management and pharmacy regulations preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Essential Job Functions

Oversee medication ordering, receiving, and storage in accordance with facility policies and regulations Accurately transcribe and verify physician orders Conduct routine medication cart audits and ensure compliance with safety standards Monitor medication storage, labeling, and expiration dates Serve as a liaison between the facility and pharmacy providers Identify, report, and help resolve medication discrepancies or variances Maintain accurate documentation and records related to pharmacy services Support nursing staff with medication-related needs and processes
