Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fundamentals and Adult Medical Surgical Clinical Instructor to join our team. The Clinical Instructor will play a vital role in educating and mentoring students in a clinical and simulation lab setting, ensuring they gain the practical skills and knowledge necessary for their professional development. This position requires a strong commitment to teaching, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Facilitate clinical learning experiences for students in various healthcare settings.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and educational methodologies.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards during clinical instruction.
Support students in developing critical thinking skills and professional behaviors.
Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and program evaluation.

Qualifications

Current licensure or certification in the applicable healthcare profession.
Previous teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students and healthcare professionals.
