Bridgeway Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an RN Care Manager. The RN Care Manager serves as a vital link between nursing, therapy, physicians, admissions, social services, insurance providers, and the Central Authorization Team to ensure residents receive the highest quality care while supporting timely authorizations, efficient care coordination, and successful discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience required
- Skilled nursing or short-term rehabilitation experience preferred
- Experience with case management, care coordination, utilization review, managed care, or insurance authorizations strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and managed care guidelines
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional resident-centered care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
