American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a Days position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and hip, joint, and knee case experience.

Details

  • Operating Room setting performing more than 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures annually across various specialties
  • Full spectrum of general elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures
  • Day shift schedule with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
  • Shift times include 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
  • Call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts within a 28-day schedule (Sunday through Saturday)
  • Call shifts run from 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of submission
  • Compact license not accepted
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
  • Experience with hip, joint, and knee procedures required
  • Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Serve as circulating nurse, monitoring surgical procedures and patient health and safety throughout operations
  • Work alongside certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialized OR technicians as part of a coordinated surgical team
  • Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers
  • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
