About this role
Weekend Support RN providing nursing coverage to patients/families/community partners via phone and in person visits, including admission to hospice services. Reports to Clinical Team Leader. Full time with benefits, 36 hours/week nights and weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8p-8a) in Buncombe County and surrounding areas. Serves as first responder for symptom-based calls after normal office hours, participates in implementation and coordination of patient hospice care, assists with emergency admissions, assesses physical and mental health, plans and evaluates nursing care, teaches and supervises personnel, collaborates with healthcare providers, and provides teaching and counseling about patient health.
Requirements
Valid NC RN license
Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance
Two years of clinical experience preferred
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation
