Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in acute care to join a Telehealth team. In this role, you'll provide virtual patient support, medication education, and ongoing care management for patients receiving specialty medications. This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy patient education, care coordination, and making a positive impact from a hybrid work environment.

Schedule
Work onsite in Cary, NC two days per week (Wednesday and one flexible day) Note: Candidates must live within commuting distance of Cary, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Provide telephonic education and counseling to patients regarding specialty medications and treatment plans. Explain medication usage, possible side effects, and answer patient questions. Support patients with medication adherence and ongoing treatment. Maintain accurate patient documentation while following HIPAA guidelines. Identify and report adverse drug events or product complaints when required. Coordinate with healthcare providers and pharmacy teams to ensure timely patient care. Maintain patient medical records and update demographic information. Follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a compact license or North Carolina license. Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher degree in Nursing. 4+ years of acute care nursing experience. Strong communication and patient education skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based healthcare applications. Ability to work independently and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Oncology, Telehealth, or Medication Management. Experience with patient counseling and motivational interviewing.
