This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.

Requirements

Accredited nursing program (required)
College Degree - 4 year Nursing (preferred)
RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (required)
BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA within 30 days of hire or transfer (required)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - AHA within 12 months of hire or transfer (required)
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA within 12 months of hire or transfer (required)
Minimum six (6) months work experience (required)
Mastery of RN I performance standards and accompanying competencies
